You are to visit destinations like Ngamba Island famous for habituated chimpanzees, Jinja, Itanda falls, Zziwa Rhino sanctuary, Murchison falls national Park, Kibale National Park famous for chimpanzee trekking, as well as Queen Elizabeth National Park. The main wildlife species to be viewed include; lions, antelopes, waterbucks, elephants, leopards, warthogs, birds, chimpanzees, and many more. Engage in activities including; game drives, boat cruises, chimpanzee feeding and tracking, fishing at Lake Albert, and many more.

DAY 1

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon your arrival at the Airport, our company representative welcomes you in Uganda and will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for an overnight.

DAY 2

Have a boat Cruise to Ngamba Island sanctuary

Have breakfast at the lodge and then proceed at UWEC were you board a boat to take you to Ngamba Island, this takes only 45 minutes to reach the island. Basing on the time of arrival, you will proceed for chimpanzee feeding, spend some time with these primates as they feed and move around. Have lunch at the restaurant and then in the afternoon, have a forest walk looking for the chimpanzees. This is a great and unique experience as you will watch these playful chimpanzees; these might pool your hair or can even climb you which make it so amazing. This walk is limited to only 3 people.

After the forest walk, you get back to the boat and are transferred back to Entebbe for an overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3

Transfer to Jinja through Kampala down city tour

Have breakfast at the hotel in Entebbe as the Guide awaits to transfer you to Kampala city for a visit to Amin’s Torture chambers in Kabaka’s palace, this is where Amin used to torture his prisoners that were against his regime. You also visit Bulange building which is the parliament of Buganda Kingdom.

After have lunch at K2 restaurant as you prepare to transfer o Jinja having a stop at Sezimbwa falls to explore these great falls. After, proceed with your drive o Jinja for your overnight.

DAY 4

White water Rafting & A visit to the source of the Nile

Wake up early enough and have your breakfast at your hotel or lodge, the drives you to the starting point where you will be given a briefing about your safety which is be followed by a practical training before starting the raft. Get to raft for close to 15kms. Your raft is concluded with fantastic Buffet lunch as well as complementary drinks after the safari.

After Lunch, You are driven to the source of the Nile; take a boat cruise to the actual source of the Nile. The source of the Nile is a point where River Nile starts its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea. This is the largest fresh water lake in Africa. After, you can also buy some souvenirs before getting back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

A visit to Itanda Falls & the former industrial Town

Have breakfast at the lodge, after the guide will drive you to Itanda falls. These are found along river Nile and are so famous for white water rafting. These falls are such magnificent and almost scary sight. These falls give you a picture of what it would look like in case the full force of Nile river waters was unchecked. These waters flood by you with a powerful force, and the sound of the rushing river can be heard a few miles away.

After the itanda visit, proceed to touir around the former industrial town of Jinja, you get to visit the old and the new industries in the town. Later, proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Wild Waters Lodge

DAY 6

Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary through the communities

Have breakfast at the lodge before starting your journey from Jinja. You are to use Kampala- Gulu Highway which takes 4 hrs and 45min to arrive to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The sanctuary has Uganda’s Wild Endangered Rhinos and it’s located to Nakasongola district, just near Nakitoma Village in the northern part of Kampala- Gulu high way. Rhino tracking is a very unique activity which allows you a chance of seeing the Rhinos on foot and it involves watching them up close and at a safer distance. With the direction of the skilled ranger guides, you get to meet them and take some photos and observe these Rhinos feed in their habitat. You can as well meet some other animal species including; monkeys and many bird species.

After the guided walk to view the Rhinos, you get back to the Lodge for dinner and Overnight

DAY 7

Transfer Murchison falls National Park through the top of the falls

Have an early morning breakfast at the lodge before you start your transfer to Murchison falls National Park which is the largest national park in Uganda. The park is found in the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley, were the Bunyoro escarpments vaults into the vast, palm scattered savannahs. The park was gazetted as a game reserve in 1962 with 76 mammals and 451 bird species. The Usual visitors to the river banks are buffaloes, elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles, giraffes as well as the aquatic birds.

The guide drives you to the top of the falls and you get enjoy how the water flows into the River. You check in to the lodge for your lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive in the northern part of the park. You are to see many animal species including; antelopes, lions, water bucks, buffaloes, birds, kobs and many more.

After the game drive, you return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight

DAY 8

Morning game drive & afternoon boat cruise

Wake up so early and proceed for an early morning game drive to see early morning risers and the animal species that you missed on your previous game dive. View many animals including the lions, antelopes, water bucks, leopards, kobs, and many more, after the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and Lunch as you prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile to see many water animals including; hippos, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles as well as birds.

After the boat cruise, get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

DAY 9

Transfer to Lake Albert & visit the fishing village

Wake up so early in the morning and start your drive to Lake Albert to enjoy fishing in the afternoon. Lake Albert was named in 1864 by the European explorers Sass Flora and Samuel Baker when they got to discover it and named it in honour of Queen Victoria’s companion Prince Albert who had passed away three years ago. It’s known to be the seventh largest lake measuring 100 miles long and 19 miles wide in Africa. Upon your arrival at the lodge, check in and then relax along the lake shores as you wait to have lunch at the lodge.

In the afternoon, you proceed for sport fishing at the lake; the lodge provides you with the necessary equipment’s. The lake has got over 55 species of fish including Nile perch and many more. After fishing, you get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 10

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Have breakfast at the lodge as you prepare for a drive to Kibale National Park, the park is home to over 13 species of chimpanzees as well as monkeys. You have lunch enroute as you travel since this is a long drive. Upon your arrival at the park, check in at the lodge and relax for the rest of the evening.

DAY 11

Chimpanzee trekking & a visit to Bigodi wetland swamp

Wake up so early and have breakfast before briefing at the headquarters for the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Uganda. You start the trek of searching for the chimpanzees and once found, you are given 1 hour to spend with them as you take photos of these primates playing and the young ones jumping from tree to tree. After the trek, return to the lodge for Lunch as you prepare for your visit Bigodi wetland swamp to see more primate species like monkeys and birds.

DAY 12

One day hike to the Ruwenzori Mountains

Have breakfast at the lodge and then transfer to Rwenzori Mountains to engage in 1 day hike. The distance from the park gate and back is 8.ikm and 2.2km walk up and back from the hostel. The trek starts at trekker Hostel at 1,450m in Kyanjiki 12km from Kasese past Kilembe. It’s best to start by 8:00am but can leave as late as 10:00am. You walk past 2.2km to the UWA ranges post 1,727m where you pay your park entrance fees.

This is an easy walk as you climb steadily through montane forest, with the tall trees thick undergrowth a well as the multitude of different species of primate and birds. The park is filled with variety of vegetation and animal species. After the trek, return back to the lodge for an overnight.

DAY 13

Transfer to queen Elizabeth National park & have an evening game drive

Breakfast early in the morning and transfer to queen Elizabeth National park. This national park is famous for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel as well as variety of wildlife species. You have lunch upon your arrival as you prepare for an evening game drive where you will see many animals including; the lions, elephants, kobs, antelopes, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs and many more.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 14

Lion tracking experience tracking & afternoon boat cruise

Have breakfast at the lodge and then proceed for tree climbing lion tracking in Ishasha sector of queen Elizabeth National Park. Here the guides will track exactly where the tree climbing are, you meet with them and take photos as you watch  them sitting up in the trees. After tracking the lions, return to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel.

After return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

DAY 15

Transfer back to Kampala

Have breakfast at the lodge, check out of the lodge and proceed for a short game drive to see some animals as you get out of the park, have lunch enroute as you travel. Have a stop at the equator for some photos and experiments. Proceed to Kampala arriving late afternoon. The guide will transfer you at the airport or drop you at the hotel for an overnight.
