DAY 1

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and Have a Kampala city tour & a transfer to Jinja

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Our company representative or your safari guide will welcome you to Uganda and he transfers you to Kampala City where you will experience its greatness. Get chance to visit Namugongo Martyrs shrine, Kabaka’s palace, Bulange parliament, Kasubi tombs, Bahai Temple and many more. You will have lunch at any local restaurant as you prepare to transfer to Jinja where you will spend annight.

DAY 2

Enjoy White Water Rafting & A visit to the Source of the Nile.

Wake up early enough and have your breakfast at your hotel or lodge, the drives you to the starting point where you will be given a briefing about your safety which is be followed by a practical training before starting the raft. Get to raft for close to 15kms. Your raft is concluded with fantastic Buffet lunch as well as complementary drinks after the safari.

After Lunch, You are driven to the source of the Nile; take a boat cruise to the actual source of the Nile. The source of the Nile is a point where River Nile starts its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea. This is the largest fresh water lake in Africa. After, you can also buy some souvenirs before getting back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

Transfer from Jinja to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Have breakfast at the lodge before starting your journey from Jinja. You are to use Kampala- Gulu Highway which takes 4 hrs and 45min to arrive to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The sanctuary has Uganda’s Wild Endangered Rhinos and it’s located to Nakasongola district, just near Nakitoma Village in the northern part of Kampala- Gulu high way. Rhino tracking is a very unique activity which allows you a chance of seeing the Rhinos on foot and it involves watching them up close and at a safer distance. With the direction of the skilled ranger guides, you get to meet them and take some photos and observe these Rhinos feed in their habitat. You can as well meet some other animal species including; monkeys and many bird species.

After the guided walk to view the Rhinos, you get back to the Lodge for dinner and Overnight

DAY 4

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Have an early morning breakfast at the lodge before you start your transfer to Murchison falls National Park which is the largest national park in Uganda. The park is found in the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley, were the Bunyoro escarpments vaults into the vast, palm scattered savannahs. The park was gazetted as a game reserve in 1962 with 76 mammals and 451 bird species. The Usual visitors to the river banks are buffaloes, elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles, giraffes as well as the aquatic birds.

The guide drives you to the top of the falls and you get enjoy how the water flows into the River. You check in to the lodge for your lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive in the northern part of the park. You are to see many animal species including; antelopes, lions, water bucks, buffaloes, birds, kobs and many more.

After the game drive, you return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight

DAY 5

Morning game drive & An Afternoon Boat Cruise

Wake up so early and proceed for an early morning game drive to see early morning risers and the animal species that you missed on your previous game dive. View many animals including the lions, antelopes, water bucks, leopards, kobs, and many more, after the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and Lunch as you prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile to see many water animals including; hippos, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles as well as birds.

After the boat cruise, get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

DAY 6

Transfer to Lake Albert and have afternoon fishing safari

Wake up so early in the morning and start your drive to Lake Albert to enjoy fishing in the afternoon. Lake Albert was named in 1864 by the European explorers Sass Flora and Samuel Baker when they got to discover it and named it in honour of Queen Victoria’s companion Prince Albert who had passed away three years ago. It’s known to be the seventh largest lake measuring 100 miles long and 19 miles wide in Africa. Upon your arrival at the lodge, check in and then relax along the lake shores as you wait to have lunch at the lodge.

In the afternoon, you proceed for sport fishing at the lake; the lodge provides you with the necessary equipments. The lake has got over 55 species of fish including Nile perch and many more. After fishing, you get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 7

Chimpanzee trekking in Budogo Forest

Wake up so early, have breakfast and drive to Budongo Forest which is 65.5km away from Lake Albert. The forest is located in Murchison falls National Park and covers an area of 793 square Kilometres. It has variety of wildlife species including; 24 mammal species, 289 butterfly species, 130 moth species, and 359 bird species. It’s commonly known for chimpanzees as well as Mahogany trees. There are about 6 groups of chimpanzees that are habituated for trekking throughout the year.

This experience takes between 3 to 6 hours as you reach for these great primates. Search for them, meet them and you will be given 1 hour to spend with them as they climb, play on the trees and also taking care of their young ones. The walk exposes you to many wildlife species including; monkeys, birds and many more. After the trek, get back to the Lodge for relaxation along the shores of the Lake.

DAY 8

Transfer From Lake Albert to Fort portal – 324 km & 6h 30 min

Have breakfast in the morning, check out of the lodge and start your drive to Fort portal which is a very tourist town in western Uganda. You have lunch enroute as you travel. This is a long drive and you arrive in the afternoon hours. Check in to the lodge and proceed for the crater lakes drive. You will explore lakes like Lake Nyabikere, Lake Nyamirima, Lake Nyinabulitwa, Lake Nkuruba, Lake Nyamugasani, Lake Ntambi, Lake Mubiro, Lake Nyantonde, and Lake Nyanswiga and many more.

After the drive, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 9

Transfer From Lake Albert to Fort portal – 324 km & 6h 30 min

Have breakfast and proceed for a walk to explore the many crater lakes in fort portal, enjoy great scenic views of these lakes with many bird species. After the walk, you start your drive back to Kampala, having a lunch stop enroute as well as a visit at the Equator to take some photos.

After, the driver guide drives you back to Kampala and drops you to the Hotel or takes you to the Airport to catch your flight.
